*sigh of frustration*
okay Howrse I've had it with your constant string of contests and new special horses.
The wandering horse thing was slightly amusing, the painting contest was actually very fun but now with your card hunt it really is getting boring.
You just keep at it though. And try to take passes and equus from players like it's going out of style.
I for one am not interested in your "planet" horses because they are just over priced trophies, same goes for your wild horses.
I am looking forward to your Knabstrupper horses though because next to the Groningen horse they are my favorite (not already on howrse) breed but, I'll wait on them because eventually the market will be flooded.
Would have been smarter for you to add a new pony breed or a draft breed but ... meh, your decision. Players beware of buying the new breed, after a couple of weeks the prices will drop and you won't be able to give them away.

Well, I'd be interested in the Knabstrupper breeding if you set goals for breaking the top BLUP coverings. (: Just throwing that out there!

If you don't want to participate in the contests, you can trade the companions you got for free for store companions, and sell them. I just saw an offer of 80 goats for 1 ostrich. Update: I found another tip! This is kinda weird, but if you've already gotten 8 companions from comp wins that day, and you still have 4 or more wins that aren't credited, if you sell the horse, the buyer gets four companions as well!

I'm just tired of the contests. They used to be for special occasions and I really did look forward to them then because they only happened 3-4 times per year. I was happy to spend passes then because I knew it would be a few months before the next one so I could save up and go at it again.
No that there always seems to be a contest going on they have lost novelty value. I don't want to spend my passes because there is nothing exciting enough to make me want to part with them. I still participate but only with the free stuff .... I get what I get and don't have any urge at all to dip int my passes.

I know... this time, they let the lottery end, then several hours later, the Konik sales started. The konik sales ended as the Companion contest began. The players don't even get to rest and recover before a new one comes up and bother us. Wait, I just said bother. The contests used to be fun, a while ago they became boring, and now they are bothersome. No wonder players quit or stopped buying passes.

I think, just participating for all the free stuff without spending passes (that I don't have anyway, no spare ones at least) is a pretty cool possibility to get... well FREE stuff. It's not bothering me so much, though I get your point. But even if there were less contests- I would still not spend passes. But that's just my opinion once again.

I'd spend passes if I could, but not on this endless contest/promo cycle. There's no way I'll open 300 HoPs for a Divine. I actually spent 4 hard earned passes on Advent, but that was just at the beginning of the new extra contest thingy, so I didn't mind too much. But the free stuff is enticing; I play in the contests without spending passes or equus.
